Manage Multiple Currencies

Home Hub supports tracking multiple bank accounts in different currencies - perfect for families with international accounts or who travel frequently.

Supported Currencies

Track accounts in 9 major currencies:

• £ GBP - British Pound
• € EUR - Euro
• $ USD - US Dollar
• A$ AUD - Australian Dollar
• C$ CAD - Canadian Dollar
• ¥ JPY - Japanese Yen
• CHF - Swiss Franc
• ¥ CNY - Chinese Yuan
• ₹ INR - Indian Rupee

Managing Bank Accounts

1. Go to Finance page
2. Click Manage Accounts
3. Click + Add Account
4. Enter account name, select currency, and choose account type (checking, savings, credit, etc.)

Currency Display

By default, the system shows each currency separately in your overview. For example:

• Income (Month): £1,500.00
• Expenses (Month): €200.00, $150.00

Each transaction displays in its native currency with the proper symbol.

Exchange Rates (Optional)

If you want to see a combined total across all currencies:

1. Click the Exchange Rates button
2. Select your 'Home Currency' (the currency you want to convert everything to)
3. Enter exchange rates for your other currencies (e.g., 1 EUR = 0.85 GBP)
4. Click Save Rates

When exchange rates are set, you'll see both:

• Per-currency breakdown (original amounts)
• A purple 'All Accounts Combined' card showing the total converted to your home currency

Dashboard Integration

The Dashboard automatically displays multi-currency transactions with proper symbols. The Monthly Spend stat adjusts its layout to show multiple currencies when needed.

Note: Exchange rates are stored locally on your device and are manual - perfect for keeping control without API dependencies.
